I am hoping that what he meant that he didn't want a baby with the other girl because he has always been in love with the stepsister. I think he is mad and sad that the other girl lied about the baby. Making him want to be a father and there wasn't a baby. Now there is one so hope he can be happy.

Stress was near this problem,, Dean is jerking her around that is just so wrong. You don't go from wanting someone for so long, to I'm all wrong for you, ugh, he made me want to punch him in the face seriously! Ok bring on the next book.

In the 1919 article, Gann makes predictions about the German Kaiser, Wilhelm Hohenzollern, based solely on the numbers associated with his name. Although Gann never outwardly mentions a specific numerology system that he may have utilized, the author provides evidence linking the divinations performed in this article to a specific system as it relates to character analysis. In addition to character analysis, Gann forecasts future periods where he expects critical events to take place in the upcoming year for Wilhelm Hohenzollern. With respect to these forecasts, the author analyzes the periods mentioned in relationship to the method of forecasting taught in the numerology system, and in relationship to another aspect of Gann’s work, which is based on cycles. This is done to show how Gann may have calculated these future periods, which also involves a discussion of the periodic law or law of octaves. Last but not least, there is an analysis of the method employed by Gann to calculate the “key number” for an individual, which is said to govern that person throughout their entire life. As the article implies, this is the whole secret behind Mr. Gann’s discovery.

Excellent book on Gann

This is a meticulously researched book that provides an outstanding analysis of a "little known article" Gann wrote in 1919. Explaining Gann's work can be a challenge due to its inherent complexity. However, the author of this book wrote it in such clear language that it is very easy to follow. It wouldn't surprise me if he/she has a doctorate in mathematics. I say this because to explain this type of content this clearly, you have to deeply understand it inside and out. The book mentions an advertisement by Gann that read, "I investigated astrology and kindred sciences to learn the law of the movements in the markets. In them all there was something lacking, and not until I struck upon the law of vibration and attraction...did I find the key to Wall Street." This book discusses what could very well be the key Gann mentioned in the form of "a study of geometric angles" applied in a certain way. If you have an interest in Gann, this is an excellent book to add to your collection.

Well Done Book on Somewhat Arcane Topic

Well researched. Clearly written. Unfortunately, it restricts itself to one chosen topic -- the numerology that W.D. Gann may have used as a basis for his newspaper article about Kaiser Wilhelm. That topic was not as broad as I would have liked. However, the author has another book in preparation; so we will see in the end. This is not a book directly about Gann's forecasting methods for trading, but it does give some insight into the likely methods that Gann used for one aspect of his forecasting methods. Contains some good references for further research.

This is a carefully researched and informative book. You will have to do your homework, but this book contains many ideas and paths you can decide to follow to dig deeper.
In my opinion the author is a financial and phylosophical researcher with vast knowledge.
Will blindly buy next author's books.

Not bad, but the black and white photos are not too great. I'm not finding myself reaching for this as a reference very much. Its inexpensive though, so that's good.

it is mired in bad, or no editing

I recently bought this book, and while helpful I couldn't help but feel as if I was being talked to as a three year old. Of course I am going to get out of it what I want, however I wish the author would have spent an extra day proof-reading before printing. For what little assistance there is; it is mired in bad, or no editing, and I am speaking of things that change meaning... For example

"The reason for this is because when you throw your body right into static stretching before your muscles have had a chance to catch up and get pliable, you actually reduce the effectiveness of more dynamic movements and REDUCE the risk of injury".

I'm quite certain she meant increase the risk of injury which entirely changes the meaning. This is one of many, and while some may say you're being over harsh on your analysis, I feel that if I'm spending money to buy a book from you that you can have the respect for your audience to edit it. It's very distracting to read something you're trying to learn when it's poorly written.

Who was more damaging, the Mongols or Americans?

This is a fairly short book and a fairly quick read. It seems to me to be thorough and honest. I am not an Arabist and have not been there, so perhaps I am too trusting. But this history of Iraq by an Iraqi rings true to me--and it's not entirely pleasant reading for an American. The book could use better maps.

In a sense the tone is looking back to a golden age before centuries of turmoil. Iraq once had 20 million people, a population it would not again reach for more than a thousand years. The catastrophe was the Mongol conquest that caused incredible carnage, huge population loss and massive destruction of agricultural infrastructure. Interestingly and sadly, Abdullah says that Iraqis compare that to the chaos following the American invasion. How widespread that view is, is unclear.

The book provides a background for making sense of Iraqi history. A predominating factor is outside overlords: Mongols, Ottomans, Persians, British, Americans. The history is overall rather grim. It is best on events of the 20th and 21st centuries. Some readers may object to the overall mood of the text, but I found it informative.

About the Author

Kathleen M. Haywood, PhD, is a professor and associate dean for academic programs at the University of Missouri at St. Louis, where she has researched life span motor development and taught courses in motor behavior and development, sport psychology, and biomechanics. She earned her PhD in motor behavior from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1976.

Haywood is a fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology and the Research Consortium of the Society for Health and Physical Education (SHAPE). She is also a recipient of SHAPE’s Mabel Lee Award. Haywood has served as president of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity and as chairperson of the Motor Development Academy of SHAPE.

Haywood is also the coauthor of four editions of Archery: Steps to Success and of Teaching Archery: Steps to Success, published by Human Kinetics. She resides in Saint Charles, Missouri, and in her free time enjoys fitness training, tennis, and dog training.

Nancy Getchell, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of Delaware in Newark. For nearly 30 years, Getchell has investigated developmental motor control and coordination in children with and without disabilities. She teaches courses in motor development, motor control and learning, research methods, and women in sport.

Getchell is a professional member of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, the International Society of Motor Control, and the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity. She is a research fellow for the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD). From 2005 to 2009, Getchell served as editor for the Growth and Motor Development section of Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport. Getchell has also served as the chairperson of the AAHPERD Motor Development and Learning Academy.

Getchell obtained her PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1996 in kinesiology with a specialization in motor development. In 2001, Getchell was the recipient of the Lolas E. Halverson Young Investigators Award in motor development.

Getchell resides in Wilmington, Delaware, where she enjoys hiking, geocaching, and bicycling.

I would really like a refund for this because I'm in school and ...

Not able to get a refund for this, the product says "readable" on all devices through the kindle PC application. What they don't tell you is that every Figure, Table, and Picture is far too small to read and there is no zoom option for images. I would really like a refund for this because I'm in school and I had to buy a hard copy to be able to see the images, but so far I've been offered no support and no option for a refund because its a digital purchase.

SUZANNE CIANI-NEW AGE PIANO

I bought this book after hearing "Neverland" and being caught by the interesting melody. To my surprise, my favorite in the book turned out to be "Tuscany" and bitersweet, haunting melody that has enraptured me. Her music is very simple, very repetitious and predictable but still a good read and allows a pianist to infuse his or her own expression to the piece.

Opens The Heart Better Than Words

This book features some of my favorite melodies. I truly enjoy this music both as a listener and a musician. The music is easy to read and the arpegios, chords and melodies envelop me in a sense of joy and comfort. Soothing, relaxing and most of all, breathing with love. When I play the piano, these are the emotions I like to express. I've enjoyed every minute spent practicing and playing these songs.

Enjoyable to Play

I have found that the more I play these pieces, the more I love them. The music encompasses a wide variety of moods and a nice mix of styles. For the most part, the music is fairly easy to play and I appreciate the fingering designed for a smaller hand. It is well worth trying.
