Great Book

Loved this book. There was so much to learn about not just the war but what the doctors went through in boot camp that they would never would never need to do. Too many details to say everything I liked but this is certainly a fantastic read. Plus Carl seems like a humble man so the attitude of the dialog he creates is very believable. Highly recommended.

Very touching and informative account of his work in Vietnam & U.S. Honorable and admirable conscientious physician who went out his way to help others, teach personnel to care for their own & set up long lasting medical care.
