Great Catalog, but....

Finding stamps in France and Germany were a nightmare. There are a lot of stamps that aren't in the catalog. I used this one to inventory my stamp collection which dates back to 1946. The smaller countries and U.S.A. are pretty complete though. Of course, Germany has stamps in the occupation and democratic republic which weren't complete. The official stamps weren't complete also. Hopefully the Scott company will be more thorough in the later volume 3 edition.

Cheaper alternative to a new catalog.

Its better to buy these slightly older catalogs because you save so much, these catalogs retail for for $70 new, so to get one for $15 or $20 even though they are 5 or 6 years old is well worth it.
